Laudan Park
|
- The park was named after Mr. Henry Laudan, whose home and farmland bordered the original field. Henry Laudan (1821-1898) married Charlotte Krueger (1828-1923), who was the sister of William Krueger (who started Krueger Hardware) and A.H.F. Krueger (owner of a flour mill and mayor of Neenah)
- The field was originally used as public land
- Laudan park now spans 144 x 600 feet.
- The name “Laudan Boulevard” remains even though the street isn't a boulevard.
